ABACUS - calculating average value

Currently, I am evaluating Abacus addon against another program that I am
using, Exponenciel's Auto-Calc.

There are many features that I found attractive in Abacus, BUT I do not
see a function that will allow me to average a set of fields (I have
twenty specifically) when some of them are empty.... Obviously if they
are empty, I don't want to count them into the averaging parameter.

My Sage consultant maintains that Abacus does not write endless
temporary file to the TEMP folder and works almost as fast as a
spreadsheet program, such as Excel. That also recommends you program

Is he correct with regards to the temporary files?
All my best,

Abacus does NOT write any files in temp folder and calculations are performed really fast ( "on the fly" )

Regarding average calculations : there some posts on the forum that can help you .
