How to install addon
Download addon installation package and double-click it to start the installation. Restart ACT! (!!!)
The following items will be added to ACT! user interface ( see screenshot ):
- An icon ( small green plus ) should have been added to ACT! toolbar to launch "Abacus Calculated Fields" directly from within ACT!.
- New menu item "Abacus Calculated Fields" should have been added to ACT! "Tools" menu.
- New context menu items "Edit Formula", "Run Formula" should have been added for every field on your layout ( right-click on any field to check it ).
How to uninstall addon
Close ACT! (!!!) , press windows "Start" button, go to "Control Panel", click "Add and remove programs",
find addon name ( "Abacus Calculated Fields for ACT!" ) in programs list and click "Uninstall" button.
Getting Started
To make a calculation on any Contact, Group or Company field, right-click on the field and then click on "Edit formula". Alternatively, you can click on the "green plus" toolbar icon, and in the "Fields List" form choose the field that requires a calculation and double-click on it. You should have the "Formula Editor" form opened now. In this form you can enter the calculation formula.
